Savannah Davis delivered a walk-off single to lift Cullman to a 6-5 win against Albertville at the Class 6A North Regional Tournament in Florence on Thursday.

Davis' clutch hit scored McKenna Kline, who led off the seventh inning with a double.

The Lady Bearcats (19-26) led 5-0 after three innings, but the Lady Aggies came back to tie the bout with three runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and one in the seventh.

In the end, however, Cullman came out on top to keep its season alive.

Kline, Faith Guest, Davis (RBI), Alex Stansell (RBI), Ashlen Heatherly (RBI), Carlie Burnham (RBI) and Taylor Au provided one hit apiece for the Black and Gold.

The Lady Bearcats will play Hartselle on Friday at 10:30 a.m.

Holly Pond, meanwhile, saw its season come to a close following a pair of defeats.

The 3A Lady Broncos (9-16) fell to Lexington 10-0 before losing to East Lawrence 9-0.
