Cullman's Jayden Sullins will participate in the 2020 Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Atlanta.

The game, which will take place inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, is scheduled for January 13 at 5 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN3.

Sullins, a senior, was one of just 55 players named to the Grey team.

The lengthy selection process began earlier this year with 23 regional combines.

Sullins dazzled at Stanhope Elmore High School in March, earning himself an invitation to one of just six super regional combines, which were held in June.

Unfortunately, he was unable to attend the Southwest Super Regional in Arlington, Texas due to meniscus surgery in April.

Sullins, however, did enough at his regional combine to convince officials to offer up an invitation to one of four Blue-Grey All-American Bowls.

The other three All-American Bowls will take place in Dallas and Tampa, respectively.

More than 6,700 athletes from across the country competed for spots in those four contests.

Only 440 made the cut.

"I am extremely honored to be selected to play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl," Sullins said. "Without my family and support system, I wouldn't have been able to make it this far. I am looking forward to competing against the top players in the nation. This is an amazing opportunity."

Sullins totaled 370 rushing yards, 699 receiving yards and 177 return yards for the Bearcats last season. He also nabbed 11 touchdowns en route to earning All-State status in Class 6A as an honorable mention athlete.
