Cold Springs

A Cold Springs player prepares to make a catch during practice.

COLD SPRINGS — The Eagles simply can't wait to get their season started.

After a run of three straight postseason appearances from 2014-16, Cold Springs has fallen short of the playoffs the previous two years and is ready to get things turned around.

The Eagles have several playmakers on this year's squad, and head coach Rod Elliott couldn't be more excited about the possibilities on both sides of the ball.

Cold Springs opens the season with a road clash against Meek on Aug. 22.
