Cullman’s Cooper Beck celebrates following a win against Hartselle.

Cullman's Cooper Beck secured second-team accolades (infielder) when the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper released its annual High School All-American Teams on Friday.

The second baseman put together a fantastic senior season for the Bearcats, batting .381 with a .488 on-base percentage and a 1.028 OPS to go along with 53 hits, 39 runs, 32 RBIs, 23 stolen bases, 19 walks, 13 doubles and three home runs.

He also pitched a no-hitter and played strong defense throughout the spring to help Cullman win the Class 6A state championship for the first time since 2015.

Beck was named a 6A first-team infielder by the Alabama Sports Writers Association earlier this month.
