Tim Miller doesn’t have to be told that he’s a lucky man. The Bob Jones High girls basketball coach knows he’s been blessed with a talented team.



All five of Bob Jones’ starters have inked Division I scholarships, making the Patriots one of the most hyped teams in the state.



Bob Jones lived up the buzz Wednesday morning. The second-ranked Patriots dominated Minor, cruising to an easy 71-39 win in the Class 6A girls semifinals of the Northwest Regional at Wallace State.



Jale Harris led Bob Jones (30-3) with a game-high 24 points, helping the Patriots build a 43-16 lead before halftime. Sametria Gideon followed with 10 points and 11 rebounds while Kellie Cook tossed in nine with five assists.



Bob Jones dominated Minor (22-10) in every statistical category, especially rebounding. The Patriots pulled down 42 boards compared to Minor’s 24.



Ashley Beverly led Minor with 12 points.



With the win, Bob Jones advances to Saturday’s Class 6A girls regional final for the second straight year.
