Prep Baseball

Cullman dropped one spot to No. 3 in Class 6A when the Alabama Sports Writers Association released its latest batch of high school baseball and softball rankings on Thursday night.

The Bearcats (9-6) had debuted at No. 2 last week. Chelsea and Russell County were ranked ahead of Cullman in this week’s rankings.

No other local baseball or softball teams were ranked, nor did any receive nominations.
