Cullman's Reagan Martin hits a backhand.

MONTGOMERY — Cullman’s Reagan Martin teamed up with Westminster Christian’s Bella Wimberly in doubles during Thursday’s Alabama All-Star Sports Week tennis competition.

Unfortunately, the North tandem fell 6-0, 6-2 against St. Paul’s Jenna Prater and UMS-Wright’s Mary Frances Wood at the inaugural event, which took place at the Montgomery Country Club.

Both singles and doubles matches were played, with the North girls ultimately downing the South 8-1 to seize a 1-0 lead in the series.
