Shaddix Company cuts ribbon on new location in South Vinemont

The Shaddix Company, founded in 1970 by Tommy and Mitchelene Shaddix in their front yard of their Trimble home, cut the ribbon on their new 22-acre location in South Vinemont Tuesday. The new location houses a 15,000-square-foot production facility in addition to an employee break room and executive offices. The Shaddix Company is a pre-cast concrete manufacturer. Included in the production facility is a state-of-the-art planetary batch plant system which allows the company to produce a more homogeneous concrete mix with greater output which results in more efficiency. The Shaddix Company expansion allowed for growth not only in the production facility, but in the employment market. The expansion allowed the company to increase jobs by 34%, currently employing 28 people.
