WBRC is reporting two more arrests have been made in connection with a July 4th boating crash on Smith Lake that left one woman dead.
Nick Bowling Suggs, 50, and Jodi Wallace Suggs, 50, both of Decatur have been charged with criminally negligent homicide, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Kelsey Starling, 26, of Troy died in the crash in Rock Creek.
Starling was on one of the boats that crashed and searches were conducted for a month in water as much as 200 feet deep in the Rock Creek area of the lake. The search resumed Monday.
Personnel from Smith Lake Task Force, Deepwater Search and Recovery, and Houston County Search and Rescue are participating in the search efforts.
ALEA Marine Patrol troopers will be on hand to enforce an idle speed zone in the area where the search is taking place. The operation is expected to continue throughout the week.
