Free shuttle offered for fair

The Cullman Lion’s Club will offer shuttle services for fair goers Tuesday from 4 p.m. until midnight.

Due to the heavy rain, the fairground parking lot is flooded and not suitable for cars to be parked in.

The alternate parking will be at the Cullman County Agricultural Center and at Cullman High School’s parking lot. There is no charge for the shuttle services.

Mark Aderhold, with the Lion’s Club fair committee, said there will also be parking across the street from the fairgrounds.

“The city garage across from the fairgrounds, behind Buena Vista, will have parking and you can walk across the street to the fair,” Aderhold said. “Please be patient on our troubles with the rain, and we may be making announcements later in the week.”
