CULLMAN — Bradley Carl Bridges and Dr. Hayley Lanette Blackwood were united in marriage on October 13, 2012 at Green Oaks Wedding Chapel in Arlington, Texas with Dr. Michael Jones of Cullman officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Shelia Moore and Philip and Sherry Blackwood of Cullman, Alabama. She is the granddaughter of Beverly and the late Howard Blackwood and the late Loyd and Ethel Brannon.

The groom is the son of Jimmy and Betty Bridges of Denton, Texas. He is the grandson of S.T. and Emma Ruth Bridges and Al and Bessie Potter, also of Texas.

Escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by both her father and her step-father, the bride wore a designer gown by Oleg Cassini. The gown featured a strapless ivory A-line silhouette with a chapel length train and exquisitely hand-beaded waistband. The delicately-beaded floral appliques on the bodice and skirt completed the ensemble. Hayley's pearl-trimmed mid-length veil coordinated perfectly with her tiara which was accented with both pearls and crystals. Her bridal bouquet consisted of a mixture of flowers in deep fall colors.

Mrs. Amber Thornton of Cullman, Alabama served her sister as Matron of Honor.  Bridesmaids were Karen O'Brien of Tacoma, Washington, Summer Burkman of West Palm Beach, Florida and Ashley Miller of Cullman. They wore A-line tea-length dresses in a beautiful cognac color which were accentuated with a rhinestone broach.

Miss Bella Thornton of Cullman served her aunt as flower girl. She wore a floor-length ivory dress featuring row upon row of sheer ruffles and accented with a brown sash.

Mr. Sammy Bridges of Corinth, Texas served his brother as Best Man. Groomsmen were John Bryant and Gene Holloway both of Corinth, Texas and Eddie Williams of Denton, Texas. Ushers were Mike Archuleta, Michael Bellar and Mark Klingele all of Corinth and Michael Williams of Denton.

Sammy Bridges, Jr. served his uncle as ring bearer. Greeters were the groom's niece and nephew, Ella and Drew Bridges of Corinth.

Hayley would like to extend a special thank-you to Elaine Blackwood, Rita Wallace, Janet Laney, Heather Sinyard, Karrie Dyson, Connie Dutton, Robyn McElyea and Kalie Meadows for all their hard work and dedication to help Hayley achieve her dream wedding.

After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Denton, Texas.
