Aucoin - McEneany


CULLMAN — Paula Kathleen McEneany and Jeff Robert Aucoin were united in marriage June 8, 2013, in a double-ring ceremony, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, Father Joseph Wolfe officiating, assisted by Father Patrick Egan.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Louise McEneany of Hanceville.

The groom is the son of Merlyn Aucoin of Napoleonville, La., and the late Terry Aucoin.

Wedding music was provided by Josh Agnew and Brigid McEneany, vocalists; Rebecca Whited, organist; and Barry Stoner, trumpeter.

The bride wore a white satin gown with lace overlay on the bodice, sewn by the bride, with a chapel-length train. The bodice also featured long sleeves with scalloped wristlines to match the standup collar. The waistline was enwreathed with a satin bow, which tied at the back. Her hair was delicately upswept, adorned with an empress tiara of silver and crystals, which also boasted a white netting-and-lace veil. She carried a bouquet of a dozen creamy white roses, the stems hand-tied with ribbon and a white beaded rosary.

Maid of honor was Brigid McEneany; bridesmaids were Maureen McEneany and Adrian Ramirez. Bridesmatrons were Liz Swope and Donna Kargel. Each wore a cornflower blue satin gown with lace overlay on the bodice, and silver slippers completed the ensemble. They carried bouquets of pink roses.

Marseille Miculek was flower girl and Cisco Miculek was junior bridesmaid.

Tommy Aysenne was best man; groomsmen were Doug Heiman, Travis Aucoin, Eric Benson and Joshua Hebert.

Ushers were John Cogswell, Michael Fitzgibbon and Elmer Waterman.

Angelus Miculek was ringbearer.

Altar servers were Brother Paul Folmar, Vincente Swope, Max Swope and John Swope. Junior groomsman was Zanté Miculek.

The reception was held at The Byre at St. Bernard, the newly renovated barn at St. Bernard’s Abbey.

Mr. and Mrs. Aucoin took a wedding trip to Savannah, Ga., Charleston, S.C., and the Smoky Mountains.

Following their nuptials, the couple resides in Alabaster, Ala., where they happily await the birth of their first child in May.
