CULLMAN —
Brianna Lee Bradford and Jonathan Coleman Collett were united in marriage on August 27, 2011, in a double ring ceremony at Madelyn's in the Grove in Athens, Alabama, with Darren Peoples officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Tommy and Patricia Butler of Athens and Todd and Talina Bradford of Town Creek. She is the granddaughter of Howell Ellis and the late Nadine Evans Ellis of Moulton; Harold and Girley Bradford and Joe and Kathryn Terry, all of Town Creek; Troyce and Linda Butler of Iuka, MS, and Sandy Marshall and the late Terry Marshall of Phil Campbell.
The groom is the son of John and Rita Collett of Vinemont. He is the grandson of the late Allen and Ava Linke of Vinemont, Fronia and the late Paul Collett of Berwyn, IL, and Jack Shields of Eva.
Given in marriage by her uncle, Jeff Ellis, the bride wore a formal ivory chiffon gown by Galina Designs. The fitted bodice featured a strapless beaded sweetheart neckline which flowed into an A-line skirt. The chapel-length hemline was accented with a sweep train. She wore a Tulle blusher veil adorned with a magnolia flower accented with a Swarovski crystal center. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses with white hydrangeas.
Emily Brackin was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Chelsie Brackin, Hailey Clark, Ashley Kellett and Amanda Smith. They wore horizon blue cotton sateen dresses featuring a fitted strapless ruche neckline with a knee-length pocketed gathered skirt. They each carried a hand-tied bouquet of roses and white hydrangeas.
Brookyn Thompson was the flower girl. She wore a Horizon blue Tulle dress.
James Collett brother of the groom was the best man. Malachi Collett, the groom's son, was the honorary best man. Groomsmen were Chris Dover, Danny Dunn, Matthew Privett and Daniel Thomason.
Isaiah Mims, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Wedding music was performed by Dustin Denney, vocalist and guitarist; and Hailey Clark, vocalist.
The reception was held on the grounds at Madelyn's in the Grove.
Following a wedding trip to Savannah, Georgia, and Hilton Head, South Carolina, the couple resides in Falkville.
