Kari Leann Brown and Christopher Shaun Cofer were united in marriage at 4 o'clock in the evening on Saturday, June 15, 2013 in a double-ring ceremony at a luxury lake house in Double Springs, Alabama, Bro. Joey Fine officiating. A reception followed inside and on the balcony overlooking Smith Lake.
The bride is the daughter of Billy Brown Sr. and Cindy Brown of Cullman and Janice Cason and the late Billy Cason of Hanceville.
The groom is the son of the late Teresa Cofer of Cullman.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an aqua-colored A-line dropped waist gown, form fitting corset style bodice, accented with diamond beading tank straps, low-cut scoop neckline that continued in the back, with a sweeping length train. The bride wore silver Volatile wedge flip flops with diamonds on the straps, and a breathtaking diamond tiara. Kari carried a bouquet made of light blue, aqua and royal blue roses wrapped with light blue and black sheer ribbon.
Matron of honor was Anna Kilpatrick. Bridesmaids were Kristi Lewis, Kathleen Henderson, Tonya Haynes and Valarie Cofer. Flower girl was Mahala Cofer.
Wesley Freeman served as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Haynes and Steve McCravy. Ring bearer was Taylor Brown.
The wedding song playing while walking down the aisle was "Your Everything" by Keith Urban. The couple's first song was "I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes" by Dierks Bentley.
Angel Eipp provided all wedding photos. Flowers were made by Cindy Brown. The cake was designed by Michael Burgan. Barbecue plates were also provided by Cindy Brown. Special thanks to close friends and family who participated.
The newlyweds honeymooned in San Juan Puerto Rico; the couple resides in Cullman, where they both are employed at Topre America.
