CULLMAN — Jordan Layne Johnson and Robert Kyle Burns were united in marriage on August 27,2011 in a double ring ceremony at Stone Bridge Farm in Cullman, Alabama. Brother Keith Gambill officiated the evening ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sherman and Donna Calvert and Barry and Tracy Johnson, all of Cullman. She is the granddaughter of Donald and Ann Freeman of Bremen, and Kathryn Johnson and the late Jerry Johnson of Garden City.

The groom is the son of Cherly King of Cullman, and the late Brian Burns. He is the grandson of Billy and Marilyn Goodwin of Good Hope, the late Donald King of Jasper, the late Olan and Ruth Garrett of Ruth, AL, and the late Fred and Ruby Burns of Cullman.

Given in marriage by her father and step-father, the bride wore a pleated silk taffeta mermaid gown designed by Liancarlo adorned with a round cabbage flower made of silk organza and a rhinestone cluster center. She wore an ivory feather fascinator with a rhinestone cluster center. Jordan carried a satin wrapped bouquet in shades of white and green which included white Asiatic lilies, green Cymbidium orchids, white Lysianthus and green and white Astromeria lilies.

Keisha Miller, friend of the bride, was matron of honor and Erynne Freeman, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Courtney Dennis and Mandi House, both friends of the bride, and Madisyn Freeman, cousin of the bride. They wore a french blue crinkle chiffon dress designed by Priscilla of Boston with a sweatheart neckline and pleated empire and skirt. They carried satin wrapped bouquets of yellow Asiatic lilies and yellow roses with hints of green throughout. Zoe Miller, special friend of the bride and groom, and Kinsey Burns, niece of the groom, served as flower girls. They wore ivory chiffon dresses with french blue sashes.

Nathan Miller, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Tanner Burns and Zach Burns, brothers of the groom, Joe Billiott and Matt Garmon, friends of the groom. Zeb Burney, nephew of the groom, and A.J. Freeman, cousin of the bride, were ring bearers.

Wedding music was performed by Matt Garmon, vocalist, and Haliegh Black, violinist.

Pre-wedding showers and parties include a bachelorette party hosted by Keisha Miller, and bachelor party hosted by Nathan Miller, a tool and gadget party hosted by family, and a wedding shower hosted by the bride's family and friends.

Following a wedding trip to Key West and Nassua, Bahamas, the couple resides in Cullman, Alabama.
