CULLMAN — Cydney Morris and Blake Rowell were united in marriage Aug. 4, 2012, in a double-ring ceremony at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Holly Pond, Bro. Chad Albright officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mitch and Charese Morris of Cullman.

The groom is the son of Matt and Tammy Rowell of Holly Pond.

Wedding music was provided by Leah Doss.

Give in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white strapless, floor-length gown with beautiful lace over the gown set off with a wide pleated sash around the waistline. She carried a “antique-style” bouquet of cream roses interspersed with flowers in pale pink, faded aubergine and moss colors offset by greenery. She completed the ensemble with teardrop pearl earrings which were mounted in teardrop-shaped rings of diamonelles.

Emily Smith was maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Charity Gerstman Body, Meagan Bates Keese, Paige Morris, Kendall and Taylor Rowell, and

Cassie and Jessy Sigouin.

Best man was Austin Rowell, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Cody Rowell, Nick Boulahanis, Gunter and Griffin Morris, both brothers of the bride, Peyton Morris and Hudson Wilhelm.

Elaine Schlenker of APG Photography was the wedding photographer.

Wedding coordinator was Paula Oslin.

The poolside reception was held at the Morris’ residence.

Meg and Molly Gambrill were in charge of the bride’s register.

Scott Adams of Universal Sound was the reception’s disc jockey, providing the dance music.

Melonie Clemmons of James Alexandria Designs was the decorator.

Following a wedding trip to Panama City Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Holly Pond.
