CULLMAN — Margaret Ann Killam and Lance William Walker were united in marriage on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 6 o'clock in the evening at First Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. The officiate was Rev. Bob Morrison.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael L. Killam of Pensacola, Florida. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willam Killam and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Walker of Cullman. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Clay and the late Mr. C.D. Walker and Mr. Ed Prather and the late Mrs. Sarah Prather.

Given in marriage by her father the bride wore an off white dupioni silk gown featuring an alencon lace bodice with two alencon lace pieces extending daintily down each shoulder to meet the slightly V-shaped back. A deep ivory dupioni silk sash tied in a dramatic bow gave the traditional gown a modern elegance. The gown was made for the bride by Birmingham designer, Heidi Elnora. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet styled with white roses, peonies and calla lilies tied with white silk ribbon.

Meredith Killam, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mallory Killam, sister of the bride; Jennifer Lovell, Barbara Benesh, Amber Ball, Natalie Johnson and Brianna Henderson. The bridesmaids wore dupioni silk two toned, one-shouldered dresses. Off white dupioni silk was used on the top of the dresses and was tied at the shoulder in a simple knot. Marigold yellow dupioni was featured on the lower dress in a floor-length full skirt. The bridesmaids carried colorful mixed bouquets of yellow and orange.

Trent Walker, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Adam Witcher, John Nyquist, Andrew Underwood, Kevin Taylor, Josh Benton and Clay Waterson.

Ushers were Rob Reid and Ben Steever. The groomsmen and ushers wore traditional two-button black tuxedoes with black cummerbunds and suspenders with silk black bowties and white linen pocket squares.

The reception was held at Pensacola Country Club, overlooking Pensacola Bay.

After a honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
