Stevens - Briggs wedding

CULLMAN — Brittney Tyler Briggs and Benjamin Lee Stevens were united in marriage July 29, 2011, at Orange Beach, Alabama. Dr. Jeff Steele officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Amelia Sutter and Barry Briggs of Cullman. She is the granddaughter of Evelyn Stevens and the late Milton "Bud" Stevens of Cullman and the late William and Polly Briggs of Hueytown.

The groom is the son of Jack and Mary Stevens of Cullman. He is the grandson of the late Jack Stevens, Sr. and June Allred and the late Harold and Betty Davis.

The bride was escorted by her fathers and given in marriage by her family. She wore a satin white strapless gown that was accented with a black sash pinned with a brooch belonging to her late grandmother Polly Briggs. She carried a bouquet of fresh flowers. Attendents for the bride included Ashley McClintock as the matron of honor, Katie Sutter, sister-in-law of the bride, and Stacie Owen, sister of the groom as bridesmaids and Tavie Owen, niece of the groom as junior bridesmaid.

Jack Stevens, Jr., father of the groom, served as best man. Hutch Sutter, brother of the bride, Brian Owen, brother-in-law of the groom, and Dylan Owen, nephew of the groom served as the groomsmen. Bailey Sutter, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer.

Mandy Rigney, cousin of the bride was the photographer. Music was provided by Dr. Jeff Steele. The bride and groom remained at Orange Beach to enjoy their honeymoon.
