CULLMAN — Amy Elizabeth Blevins and Raymond E. Poore, Jr., were married on April 21, 2012, in the Rose Garden at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, with the Rev. Kelsey Graham officiating the double-ring ceremony. A wedding celebration honoring Dr. and Mrs. Poore was held on July 20, 2012, at North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa.

The bride is the daughter of George L. Blevins of Cullman, and Martha L. Taylor of Tuscaloosa. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie J. Blevins of Vinemont and the late Mr. and Mrs. William P. Taylor of Cullman.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Poore, Sr., of Jacksonville and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John J. Poore and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ellis L. Thompson.

After a honeymoon trip to Italy, the couple will reside in Tuscaloosa.
