Samantha Chastain and Jeffery Winfrey were united in marriage on Oct. 6, 2007, in a double ring ceremony at Valley Springs Baptist Church, Junior Garmon officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Myria Chastain and Marty Chastain, both of Arab.
The groom is the son of Roger and Glenda Winfrey of Hanceville.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown with daisy flower beading. Her two-tiered veil of illusion with a rolled satin edging was held in place by a miniature silver tiara of crystals. She carried a clutch-style bouquet of gerbera daisies in a variety of fall colors. The stems were hand-wrapped with sheer navy ribbon.
Catherine Ward was matron of honor. She wore a floor-length navy dress with a halter-style bodice. The empire waistline boasted navy crystal beading. She carried a bouquet of gerbera daisies, the stems of which were hand-wrapped in silver satin ribbon.
Madeline Winfrey was flower girl.
Anthony Winfrey was best man. Roger Winfrey was groomsman.
Isaac Ward was ringbearer.
The reception was held in the church’s fellowship hall.
Jean Wilson, Lisa LeCroy and Charity Winfrey were in charge of the bride’s register. Servers were Abbey Chastain, Angela Tidwell and Sabrina Yarbrough.
Following a wedding trip to Orange Beach, Ala., the couple resides in Hanceville.
