— Wren Allred and Nicholas Barbee were united in marriage on July 28, 2007, in a double ring ceremony at Longview Church of God, the Rev. Mike Gunter officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the late James Allred.
The groom is the son of John and Karen Yarns of Vinemont and Stanley and Ellen Barbee of Falkville.
Wedding music was provided by Tracey Fowler, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her sons, Josh and Nickie Holcomb.
Sherry Allred, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Brittany Allred, niece of the bride, and Jennifer Powell, sister of the groom.
Flower girls were Kimberley Allred, cousin of the bride, and Patience Allred, great-niece of the bride.
Nathan Lee, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Philip Young, uncle of the groom, Josh Crawford, and Kendall Allred, nephew of the bride. They also served as ushers.
Ringbearer was Nickie Holcomb.
The reception was held in the church's fellowship hall. Servers were Amy Doherty, Krista Livengood, Blair Briscoe, and Kelley Lee, all cousins of the groom.
Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Vinemont.

A prenuptial shower was hosted by the Women of the Church of God at Longview Church of God on June 24.
