Cassie Elizabeth Sellers and Justin Craig Ward were united in marriage on Nov. 3, 2007, in a double ring ceremony at Quail Creek Golf Resort, the Rev. Randy Sellers, father of the bride, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Donna Sellers of Cullman.
The groom is the son of Mickey and Susie Ward of Pell City.
Wedding music was provided by Genny Jacobs, pianist, and Julie Dodson and Spencer Bell, vocalists.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal, imported gown of white, silk shantung and Alencon lace. The bodice featured a strapless, scalloped neckline of Alencon lace. The fitted lines were molded with re-embroidered lace, accented with hand-sewn seed pearls, mother-of-pearl rocaille beads, and iridescent sequins. The natural waistline was encircled with a silk shantung sash and a candy box bow in the center front. The full ballgown skirt of silk shantung was held in box pleats at the dropped waistline, falling into a cathedral-length train. The silk train was enhanced by billowing pickups of fabric tufted in the center by beaded lace medallions. The bride’s double-tiered, chapel-length veil of illusion was hemmed with a band of hand-sewn seed pearls, bugle beads and iridescent sequins. It was held in place with a bridal comb. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink roses, hydrangea and stephanotis. The bride’s great-grandmother’s antique handkerchief was wrapped around the stems of her bouquet.
Deanna Barrera was maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Krissy Fullilove, Alicia Williamson, Misty Klein, Casey Baughman, Kelly Gwaltney and Emily Sellers. They wore dresses of pink and brown bobbin net over matte satin. The bodice featured a strapless neckline and fitted princess lines to the natural waistline of pink net over satin, accented with satin ribbons which tied with a bow at the center front. The semi-circle tea-length pink skirt was finished with a hem of brown satin ribbons. Each attendant carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink and white gerbera daisies.
Cassie Jo Carter was flower girl.
Best man was Mickey Ward. Groomsmen were Nich Woodley, Dave James, Matt Baggett, Kenneth Chambers, Greg Gwaltney and Josh Sellers.
Parker Sellers served as ringbearer.
The reception was held at Quail Creek Golf Resort.
Servers were Nina Mathis, Gracee White, Amy Scott and Alex Scott.
Following a wedding trip to the Hawaiian Islands of Oahu and Maui, the couple resides in Cullman.
