MONTGOMERY, Ala. —
A Montgomery man has pleaded guilty to luring five women to vacant apartments and raping them in 2012.
The Montgomery Advertiser Tuesday reported Roderikus Alloway pleaded guilty to five counts of rape and burglary, six counts of sodomy and a count of sexual abuse.
Investigators say the man would contact women through Facebook or on other forms of social media, get their number and start texting them.
Deputy District Attorney Carrie Gray says Alloway would pretend to be someone else and convince the women to meet with him. Investigators said the man threatened the victims with a hammer and deleted contact information from their phones after the attacks.
Authorities say DNA evidence linked Alloway to the attacks and he is scheduled to be sentenced June 13.
