Elks Cullman County Junior Championship
The Elks Cullman County Junior Golf Championship will be July 24-25 at the Cullman Golf Course. There will be five divisions for participants ages 8-18.

Finish the Race Golf Tournament
The third annual Scott Lochridge Foundation Finish the Race Golf Tournament will be Saturday at the Cullman Golf Course. The four-man scramble competition will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. The cost to register is $75 per golfer or $300 per team. Lunch and drinks will be provided.

St. Bernard basketball camps
St. Bernard will host a pair of basketball camps July 16-19 at the St. Bernard Gymnasium. Wade Knight will teach a fundamentals camp from 8-11:30 a.m. for boys going into grades four through eight.

ECGT Cullman Summer Pro-Am Classic
The Emerald Coast Golf Tour will host the inaugural Cullman Summer Pro-Am Classic Tuesday through Thursday at the TP Country Club. Wednesday’s pro-am event, which will feature three-man teams, will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost to register is $100 a golfer, which includes a pairing party July 10, as well as lunch the day of the tournament.

Wallace State basketball camps
Wallace State men’s basketball coach John Meeks and the state-champion Lions will host two more sessions of the Wallace State Basketball Academy this summer.

Cullman Cobras 7U travel baseball tryouts
The Cullman Cobras are currently welcoming tryouts for their 7-and-under USSSA travel baseball team. Those interested may contact Clain at 256-709-4213.

Cullman Golf Course junior clinics
The Cullman Golf Course will hold junior clinics for those ages 8-18 today, June 19, 26 and July 3 from 8-9 a.m.

Wallace State baseball camps
Wallace State’s baseball team will host a camp from Wednesday and Thursday for those ages 13-18 at James C. Bailey Stadium. Current and former Lion baseball players, NJCAA Hall of Fame coach Randy Putman and assistant Adam Scott will provide two days of one-on-one personal instruction, group activities and knowledge about America’s pastime. The camp is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

TP Country Club Jr. golf clinics
TP Country Club will host junior golf clinics every Tuesday and Thursday in June and July. A clinic for 5-8 year olds will be from 9-10 a.m. and one for 9-12 year olds from 11 a.m. to noon.
