The Alabama baseball program will hold a youth camp, showcase and games camps, and pitching camp Nov. 16-17.
The youth camp will be a one-day event that encompasses all aspects of the game for kids in kindergarten through the seventh grade. Part of this camp will be held in the Hank Crisp Indoor Practice Facility.
The showcase and games camp will begin in the afternoon on Nov. 16 and run all day on Nov. 17. Each player will be evaluated by Alabama’s coaches, in addition to other junior college and college coaches at the camp. The first night will consist of a pro-style workout with batting practice at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. On Day 2, each player will compete in two games, one at Sewell-Thomas Stadium and another at a local high school.
The pitching camp will run in conjunction with the showcase and games camp. On Saturday (Nov. 16) evening, participants will learn every part of the pitching program at Alabama. A strength and conditioning/nutrition talk will also be included. On Sunday, pitchers will throw two innings in one of the games.
