Wallace State women’s basketball will host a Hoops Plus Recruiting Showcase for the North Alabama area Sept. 22 at Tom Drake Coliseum from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event is open to all girls in grades 9-12 with the desire to play college basketball, showcase their basketball skills and compete against top-level talent. Various college coaches from around the region will be invited to attend and evaluate future prospects.
Check-in will be at 9 a.m., and play will begin at 10 a.m. Games will feature two 20-minute halves, and players are guaranteed three games. Wallace State players will serve as coaches, and teams will be selected after check-in.
