Desperation Church's Easter carnival and egg drop
Desperation Church will host an Easter carnival at Heritage Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, with 2 egg drops: The first is for younguns through age six at 11 a.m.; the second is for 7-11 years old at noon. Free admission; concessions available. Children should bring own egg collection baskets or bags.

The ceremony is normally held on the Feast of St. Joseph, March 19, but since that falls during spring break this year, the event was celebrated one week before.
