Desperation Church's Easter carnival and egg drop
Desperation Church will host an Easter carnival at Heritage Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, with 2 egg drops: The first is for younguns through age six at 11 a.m.; the second is for 7-11 years old at noon. Free admission; concessions available. Children should bring own egg collection baskets or bags.

SBMS students celebrate the blessing of St. Joseph’s table
Students at St. Bernard Middle School held their annual blessing of the St. Joseph’s Table. The ceremony is normally held on the Feast of St. Joseph, March 19, but since that falls during spring break this year, the event was celebrated one week before. The blessing was given by school president, Father Joel Martin who described St. Joseph as a righteous man.
