CULLMAN —
Beginning in 1962, at a small Baptist church in Nashville, Tenn., David Christopher's ministry has spanned five decades and many various congregations throughout the southeast. David is currently serving as minister of music at Lake Catoma Baptist Church in Cullman. This Sunday's service will include many memories from the past 50 years. A reception will be held at Lake Catoma Church from 2 to 4 p.m. following the service.
Churches that David has served include in Tennessee, Whittsett Chapel Baptist in Nashville, First Baptist in Loudon, First Baptist in Elizabethton, Central Baptist in Oak Ridge, and First Baptist in Manchester. In Alabama, Eastmont Baptist in Montgomery and First Baptist in Bessemer.
Since moving to Cullman in 1979, Christopher's music ministry has included Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, St. John's Episcopal Church in Decatur, and First Christian Church in Cullman.
In 2010, Seventh Street Baptist called David to serve as interim minister of music and in February 2011, he was called to Lake Catoma Baptist Church as minister of music.
Other areas of ministry have included singing for hundreds of weddings and funerals, officiating at numerous funerals and performing over 800 weddings.

Sacred Heart Elementary's May Crowning
