CULLMAN —
Fifteen various ministries of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church will be highlighted during the Ministry Fair Sunday, Aug. 19. Held in the Family Life Center from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the intent of this event is to showcase for parishioners the many available opportunities to enhance their spiritual (through prayer) and corporal (service to others as Jesus requested) walk through life.
Ministry booths and representatives will include Knights of Columbus, Altar Society, St. Vincent dePaul Society, Redivivus, Pro-Life, Alliance of the Two Hearts, Eucharistic Adoration, Cursillo/Ultreya, St. Camillus Ministry to the Sick, Divine Mercy, Legion of Mary, Marriage Encounter, Social Service, Holy Name Society and the Precious Blood Prayer Group. Dolores Kisbey-Green, Sondra Nassetta and Dorothy Faulkner have coordinated this centennial year celebration event.
Everyone, from “newcomers” to “oldtimers” and all those in between, are invited to attend this informative gathering to gain a greater awareness of the many opportunities for stewardship and service which are offered at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
