HANCEVILLE — The City of Hanceville, along with about 10 community churches, hosted the Hanceville Community Fallfest Oct. 31. An estimated 4,000 people joined in the festivities in downtown Hanceville. The streets were lined with themed Trunk-o’-Treat cars, carnival games, inflatables, church booths, and a vendors area. Jason Murphree (pastor of one of the churches and member of the Hanceville FallFest Committee) said that FallFest 2012 was a huge success because it was a safe, family friendly event that brought people into downtown Hanceville. More importantly, it was a great way for the churches to work together, meet a need, and tangibly show people the love of Christ.
