Looking for information

I am seeking historical information in regards to several families who lived in the Vinemont, Flint Creek, Providence, Pleasant Grove and Gold Ridge area of Cullman County, which was Blount County in the 1850s through the early 1900s. Of particular interest are any family members that may have served during the Civil War and any correspondence (letters, etc.) from this time period: 1860’s.

A few of the families involved in this research are the Drake, Holmes, Gay, Couch, Kyle, Lynn, Lawrence, Mayhall, Oden, Ray, Evans, and Brindley families. If any of your descendants lived in the areas mentioned above during this time period, and you would be willing to share any information, pictures and/or letters from this time period, please contact me at these numbers or address: 796-6213/531-4956; 16 County Road 1510, Cullman, AL 35058.
