Why so long?

The idea of sales tax on groceries is not only a wonderful idea this should have been implemented years ago. Sen. Little why now eliminate groceries tax when you should have sought to eliminate it eight years ago when you first went into office?

Your plan is to give a tax cut to only those with a family of four making under $137,000. What about the elder who has worked hard all their life and is now making that figure or above, shouldn’t they be rewarded with the same tax cut? What about that hard working farmer that has raised his family and he now only has him and his wife at home, shouldn’t they be rewarded, also? If this is an immoral tax, which I think grocery tax is, why isn’t it an immoral tax for everyone.

I think stopping the grocery sales tax is a wonderful idea. It should have been enforced years ago. My question to Sen. Little is, “Why didn’t you vote on this tax cut last year instead of voting yourself a pay raise of 62 percent for your part-time job as senator?”
