Pillaged by Riley

Hello, local residents of Cullman County. How does it feel to be taken advantage of? Because that’s what happened the week of “Take Back Our Highways.” Our governor decided to impose his will on us for our safety.
I myself did not receive a single ticket, but 3,534 of us did. I say “us” because we are one town, one community united together in this county. So I feel violated. I feel we have all been violated.
If the governor surely wants to solve problems maybe he could start with Cullman’s drug problem, which I consider a true and real threat. How many were jailed on drug charges during this week, or, for that matter, any charges? Sixty-three people were arrested for non-traffic incidents.
Let’s consider the huge influx of illegal immigrants in Cullman County. What is being done about that, Mr. Riley? Well, thank God I have a solution: Since you saved so many lives in Cullman, why not continue the good deed? I suggest you reintegrate the money you pillaged from our citizens back into our community to truly improve our safety, via the local police departments, community projects, anything that would really benefit us.
