Funeral services for Arlen Ray Mayfield, 84, of Hanceville will be Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, Dennis Lott officiating.
Mr. Mayfield passed away Saturday at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born in Cullman County on May 28, 1924, to Travis and Mendie Elizabeth Bright Mayfield.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Mayfield; a son, Ray (Diane) Mayfield Jr. of Lewisville, Tex.; three daughters, Cheryl (Tommy) Grissom of Lewisville, Tex., Terri Smith of Florida, and Elizabeth (Mike) Morgan of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Clyde (Evelyn) Mayfield of Mt. Olive; a sister, Marie Smith of Mt. Olive; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:30 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
