Charlotte Diane Jacobs
Memorial services for Charlotte Diane Jacobs, 62, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at St. John's Evangelical Church with Rev. John Richter officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m. at the church.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Dr. Jacobs passed away February 21, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1950 to parents, Woodrow and Dean Vest Jacobs. She was a retired industrial engineer at Georgia Tech where she earned her PhD. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Church where she sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Jacobs and her first husband, Larry Horsley, father of her daughters.
She is survived by her mother, Dean Jacobs; two daughters, Valerie (Matt Rodeheffer) Horsley and Shelley (Bryan) Riddle; two brothers, Woody (Connie) Jacobs and John Jacobs; three sisters, Debra (Dwight) Holcombe, Pamela (Dwight) Keller and Joyce Echols; five grandchildren, Jonathan Riddle, Andrew Riddle, David Riddle, Avery Rodeheffer and Evelyn Rodeheffer; family and friends.
