Hubert Clifford Sims
Memorial services for Hubert Clifford Sims, 67, of Cullman will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at New Hope No. 2 Baptist Church, Bro. Patrick Morgan officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sims died Saturday, Nov. 24, at his residence. He was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Hanceville to Clifford E. and Azalee “Susie” Haynes Sims. He was retired from General Motors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, George and Eula Sims; a grandson, Brandon Sims; and grandparents, Luther and Jesse Green.
Survivors include his wife, Mary O’Bryan Sims; three sons, Mark (Pat) Sims, Everett “Gene” (Kim) Sims and Michael (Chrissy) Sims; a daughter, Jennafer (Mike) Durham, all of Cullman; eight granddaughters and five grandsons, Ashleigh, Allyson, Andruw, Tesa, Steven, Mariah, Caleb, Marida, Missy, Danielle, Jonathan, Matthew and Emily; a great-grandchild, Dillyn; two sisters, Glenda Sims-McDermott of Chelsea, Mich., and Brenda Sims of Hanceville; and two nephews, Travis and Zachary McDermott of Chelsea, Mich.
