Funeral services for Hoyt Buckelew, 81, of Cullman will be at noon Wednesday, Feb 6, 2013, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Johnie Hobbs officiating, with burial in Etha Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Buckelew passed away Monday, Feb. 4, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born May 13, 1931, to Aaron and Rosie Hopper Buckelew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Christine Buckelew; two brothers, Marvin Buckelew and Hobert Buckelew; two sisters, Audrey King and Yvonne Veal; and a granddaughter, Emily Buckelew.
Survivors include a son, Rickey (Trudy) Buckelew; a daughter, Cindy Brown; a brother, Travis Buckelew; four sisters, Velva Lee Buckelew, Myrl Bonner, Eunice LaFann and Judy Hastings; three grandchildren, Joshua (Kristen) Buckelew, Bridget Brown and Thomas Brown; and four great-grandchildren, Ella Buckelew, Zoe Harris, Whitney Brown and Dillon Brown.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
