CULLMAN — Lily Mae Heaton

Funeral services for Lily Mae Heaton, 96, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Pastors Sam Hollis and Dennis Trimble officiating, with interment in Good Hope Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lily Mae Heaton was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Cullman County to Doss E. King I and Josephine Hinkle. She passed on and joined her Lord, Saturday, Jan. 12, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was a school teacher, teaching in the states of Alabama and Michigan until her retirement in 1978.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Bill Heaton; and all her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Martha Heaton Al-Dijali; a son, Billy Wayne Heaton; five grandchildren, Laith Aldijaili, Cathy Heaton Chisum, Arkan Al-Dijaili, Keith Al-Dijaili and John Heaton, as well as their spouses; 15 great-grandchildren; and scores of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to request Gideon Memory Cards in lieu of flowers.
