Dani J. McClain
Dani J. McClain, 55, of Cullman died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, in Decatur. She was born in Harvey, Ill., grew up in Cullman, and lived most of her life in the Birmingham area.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, which will be announced at a later date.
Ms. McClain was know for her dry sense of humor and love of animals. She could often be found at Steele Orchard or at the farmers market, where she loved working alongside her friend, Linda. She was very active in the animal rescue community and advocated endlessly on their behalf.
Dani’s is survived by her mother, Bettye McClain of Cullman; her father, Dan McClain of Cullman; her brother, Jason McClain of Cullman, aunts, Faye Constantine of Vestavia Hills and Peggy Tucker of Decatur; her daughter, Amy Hasenbein of Cullman; and special friend, Linda Steele of West Point.
Dani’s family requests that donations be made in her memory to the no-kill animal rescue group of your choice.
