Donnie James Ulis Pitts
Funeral services for Donnie James Ulis Pitts, 73, of Hanceville will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Grove Baptist Church; Officiating will be Jerry Scott and Rev. Mark Long; with interment in the church cemetery.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pitts passed away on Saturday at his residence.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Elaine Pitts. He is also survived by daughter Joyce Brockman (Bobby) and son Keith Pitts; 3 grandchildren: Stacey Wilkins (Daniel), Jennifer Gantt (Davis), and Ashley Pitts; great grandchildren: Jacob Gantt, Ava Gantt, and Lane Wilkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Red and Ruth Pitts, brothers Charles and Jackie Pitts, and grandson Bo Brockman.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
