Roger ‘Steve’ Cobbs
Funeral services for Roger “Steve” Cobbs, 62, of Eva will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Gum Pond Church, Elders Heath Williams and J.L. Hopper officiating, with interment in Gun Pond Cemtery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cobbs died Thursday, Dec. 6, at his residence. He was born June 26, 1950, in Cullman to Earl Whitney and Prudie F. Nunnelley Cobbs. He was a general laborer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Ray Cobbs; and a sister, Nelda Cobbs Nelson.
Survivors include a sister, Brenda Cobbs (Ronald) Childers; three brothers, Delone (Judy) Cobbs, Ronald (Faye) Cobbs and Darrell (Leigh) Cobbs; a brother-in-law, Bill Nelson; a sister-in-law, Linda Cobbs; 43 nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.
