Kathrena Galin Johnson

CULLMAN — Funeral services for Kathrena Galin Johnson, 95, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Howard Rodgers and the Rev. Floyd Bradford officiating. Interment will be at Crosses Chapel Cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Johnson passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, at her residence. She was born July 1, 1917, to Adam Frederick and Vilene Davis Galin. She was a member of Baldwin Presbyterian Church. She loved everyone and especially children. She also loved flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harvey F. Johnson, two sons, Hugh F. Johnson and Lonnie Johnson; brothers: Fritz, Herman, Ernest, and Everett Galine; a sister, Susie Galine Smith.

Survivors include two daughters, Amanda (Alton) Williamson of Cullman, and Barbara (Charles) James of Montgomery; daughters-in-law: Faye Johnson of Cullman and Margaret Johnson of Florida; sister-in-law, Evelyn Linton; six grandchildren: Beverly (Tim) Presley of Sylacauga, Charles (Valerie) James of Montgomery, John (Tina) James of Prattville, Sonya (Jeff) Still of Cullman, Christina Hudson of Cullman, Gary Johnson of Georgia; eight great-grandchildren: Nichole (Chris) Simon of Sylacauga, Sara Presley of Sylacauga, Allison (Shawn) Daugherty of Charlotte, N.C., Cade, Colin, Cooper James of Prattville, Cody Still of Cullman, Jonathan Stewart of Cullman; three great-great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Baldwin Presbyterian Church Building Fund.

Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 5:30-8 p.m.
