Philip Evans
Funeral services for Philip Evans, 56, of Falkville will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Doug Smith officiating, with burial in Missionary Grove Baptist Cemetery in Cullman County.
Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Evans died Monday, Sept. 3, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Friday, July 27, 1956, in Morgan County to Ralph Stinson and Millie Rae Johnson Evans. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Joe Evans.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Gable Evans of Falkville; a daughter, Brandy Evans Speegle of Falkville; a grandchild, Aubrey Evans Speegle; a brother, Michael Evans of Falkville; and a sister, Jan (Evans) Hopkins of Falkville.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Bates, Doug Cannon, Greg Wyle, Jerry Hopkins, Jared Hopkins and Troy Puckett.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
