Horace Duke Hudson
Funeral services for Horace Duke Hudson, 95, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. H.E. Lafevor officiating, with interment in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hudson died Friday, Nov. 2, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham. He was born May 26, 1917, in Cullman County to Henry T. and Ida Bertha Nix Hudson. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bernard Franklin Hudson, William Edward Hudson and Aubrey Hudson; and three sisters, Audrey Guthrie, Mattie Beth Hudson and Berman Lou Farley.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Lora A. Hudson; a son, Harold (Sandy) Hudson of Gardendale; two daughters, Carole (Brad) Warren of Birmingham and Wanda (James) Hughes of Red Bay, Ala.; two grandchildren, Eric (Vanessa) Hudson and Jeremie (Amanda) Hudson; four great-grandchildren, Savannah Hudson, Michael Hudson, Brantley Hudson and Emma Hudson; and a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Ms. Sharon Capps Phillips, 69, of Springhill will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Mike Waters officiating, with interment at Springhill Cemetery.
James Edward McCravy
Funeral services for James Edward McCravy, 80, of Cullman will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hanceville; with interment in Ebenezer Cemetery. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
