Olen Ermon Willingham
Graveside services for Olen Ermon Willingham, 86, of Jemison, Ala., were at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Cullman City Cemetery, Dan Willingham, Gary Payne and Bryan Funderburk officiating. Visitation was from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Willingham died Thursday, Sept. 19, at his residence. He was born on April 19, 1927, in Cullman to Alfred and Thelma Worthington Willingham. He served as a Seaman First Class in the United States Navy and worked for 3M as an engineer in the film industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Willingham; sons, William Olen Willingham, Johnathan Wayne Willingham, David Allen Willingham and Franklin Vining; daughters, Robina Lucinda Riddle, Ellen Renae Payne and Frances Marie Medina; a brother, Joe Willingham; sisters, Mary Conn, Patty Labardo and Nell Clemmons; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Carlton Eugene Stafford, 82, of Cullman passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1932, James and Mary Katherine Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the original owner of Carlton’s restaurant.

Susan Werner died Monday, July 21, 2014, as a result of an apparent fall at her home in Gainesville, Florida. Susan grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and, after graduation from FSU, spent many years in Cullman, where she taught elementary school and received a master’s degree from UAB. While in Cullman, she married Robert Werner and helped run a family retail business.
