Funeral services for Nancy Elizabeth Camp, 85, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Randy Sellers officiating, with burial in Welti Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Camp passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Blountsville to Lawrence Phillip and Sarah Elizabeth Thomas Vanzandt. Nancy was a member of Welti Mt. Zion Baptist Church; she was employed at King Edwards for over 25 years; she also worked with the Benedictine Sisters for 15 years; after that her passion was taking care and playing with the grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dorsey Wayne Camp; four sisters, Sophia Woods, Ruby Cockran, Eula Bryson and Loretta Harris; two brothers, George and Herbert Vanzandt; and two brothers-in-law, Rayford Camp and Oneal Camp.
Survivors include a daughter, Patsy (Jimmy) Boatright; two grandchildren, Jeffery (Rhonda) Boatright and Susan (Darryl) Stapp; seven great-grandchildren, Breeanna (Devin) Basinger, Jordan Boatright, Mathew Boatright, Kevin (Danielle) Stapp and Jamie Stapp; one great-great-granddaughter, Failyn Basinger; a brother, David Vanzandt; a sister-in-law, Betty Camp; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Randy Folds, Byron Bonner, Jason Slaton, Greg Camp, Donald Vanzandt and Elvie Vest.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
