Funeral services for Carroll Wayne Haynes, 72, of Blountsville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, the Revs. Earl Mitchell, Bobby Bright, Randy Burtram and Terry Simpson officiating, with interment in Holly Pond Cemetery.
Holly Pond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Haynes died Saturday, May 4, surrounded by his family. He was born in Cullman County to Clifton and Bivion Lucille Moon Haynes. He was a truck driver and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Fay Moore Haynes of Blountsville; three sons, Danny (Penny) Haynes of Arab, Timothy (Sammy) Haynes of San Diego, Calif., and Glen (Camellia) Haynes of Blountsville; a daughter, Kimberly Carol (Jagir) Jhaveri of Hartselle; six grandchildren, Daniel Haynes, Brian Haynes, Latiya Qualls, Levi Haynes, Ashley Gillespie and Brandon Gillespie; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Haynes, Levi Haynes, Brandon Gillespie, Zack Qualls, Brian Haynes and Bobby Lawrence.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Carlton Eugene Stafford
Carlton Eugene Stafford, 82, of Cullman passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1932, James and Mary Katherine Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the original owner of Carlton’s restaurant.
Susan Melissa Neck Werner
Susan Werner died Monday, July 21, 2014, as a result of an apparent fall at her home in Gainesville, Florida. Susan grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and, after graduation from FSU, spent many years in Cullman, where she taught elementary school and received a master’s degree from UAB. While in Cullman, she married Robert Werner and helped run a family retail business.
