Mary Bell McClure
Graveside services for Mary Bell McClure of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Elmwood Cemetery.
Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McClure passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Lakeshore Heartland Nursing Home in Donelson, Tenn. She was born Dec. 27, 1923, and graduated from West End High School in Birmingham. On Aug. 22, 1949, she married the love of her life in Lowndes County, Miss. She worked as a medical receptionist and was a Pink Lady volunteer at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Grady and Etta Elizabeth Fair Burkes; her sister, Barney Mae Burkes; and her husband, Charles A. McClure.
Survivors include her son, Charles S. (Linda) McClure; her brother, Jack (Pauline) Burkes; two grandchildren, Christopher S. (Jennifer) McClure and Kelly E. (Bill) Harden; and four great-grandchildren, Brandon and Abigail McClure, Alex Vest and Melody Harden.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham.
