Violet Murphree Calvert
Funeral services for Violet Murphree Calvert, 84, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Sandra Murphree officiating, with burial in Livingston Chapel Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Calvert died Saturday, Sept. 8, at her residence. She was born Nov. 8, 1927 to John Asa and Mand Battles Murphree. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Velma Murphree, Era Cooper and Geneva Lankford; and six brothers, Ira, Quincy, Howard, Ellard, Verbon and Wyatt Murphree.
Survivors include seven nieces; and three nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.
