Eugene Phillips
Funeral services for Eugene Phillips, 86, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Bo Edmonds and Rev. Dennis Trimble officiating, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Phillips passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1926, to O.H. and Eva Fuller Phillips. He retired as plant manager from Cullman Lingerie and was currently employed at Econo-Med. He was loved and respected by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64-and-a-half years, Ruth Phillips; and a sister, June Wiggins.
Survivors include a daughter, Faye Smith; grandsons, Bo (Lisa) Edmonds, David (Nancy) Chrietzberg; great-grandchildren, Zac, Nick and Baylee Chrietzberg; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
